Wolkat is a family owned business and founded in November 1948. It was established by Theo van Ierland and currently the fourth generation is active in the company.

The youngest generation was strongly involved in the company’s activities from an early age. Funny fact, the youngest family member that joined the Wolkat business gave a presentation about recycling 20 years ago, when she was only 8 years old.
