News: reinventing recycling in 4 steps!
The first step in our unique circular recycling process is Reduce. In Europe alone 5.8 million tons of textiles are thrown away every year. We collect (old) textiles and sort them in our factory.
The sorted, useable clothing and textiles go to second-hand shops and warehouses, that’s our second step: Reuse! If reuse isn’t an option we don’t burn the garments but we Recycle them, step 3. They are resorted on colour and type and cut into little pieces. Our final step, Recreate, includes a technique that we developed in-house that makes it possible to transform used textiles into fibers and yarns. In our own spinning and weaving plant we turn these yarns into all kinds of new products
