News: international Earth Day
Today people in 192 countries reflect (extra) on their consumer behaviour and its impact on Mother Nature. We are all about creating awareness in the textiles industry and therefor we embrace Earth Day.
We strongly encourage consumers and producers to recycle their old garments by handing them in at the right places. It takes about 7000 litres of water to produce one pair of jeans, which makes it really unfortunate to burn old or broken textiles. By recycling them we can spare raw materials and water, which has a positive impact on our earth.
